I started Un-Mothered with an impulse decision one day after searching online for something which mirrored my experience, which made me feel seen and heard. I am the child of an alcoholic but did not live with them for any time which I can remember, I am not fostered or adopted and yet I have been separated from my mother and can resonate with elements of the experiences of all of these groups. I hope that this can be a place for all people who have been separated from their mother to share their experiences.
